Acces to Coffeeshop Mississippi

In the city of Maastricht, the “ingezetenen-criterium” (residency criterion) applies to all coffee shops, which means they are not accessible to foreign tourists. To gain access to this coffee shop, you must be at least 18 years old and always carry a valid identification document, which must be presented for verification upon entry. (Photos of expired identification documents are not accepted).

Access is granted to individuals with a Dutch identification document (passport, identity card, driver’s license, diplomatic passport, refugee or foreigner’s (W) document).

Individuals with a foreign identification document can only gain access if they can also demonstrate that they reside or study in the Netherlands.
